Ebay item 9/2/13
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SURVIVOR-57K-ORIGINAL-MILES-ORIGINAL-PAINT-100-ORIGINAL- ...
Current bid $1,025 reserve not met 4 bid 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1962 Jaguar MK2 with black California license plates and 57,641 actual miles since new. One owner since the early 1960's, always garaged, a 100% original "survivor" car with original factory paint and original interior. Stored and not driven since 1989, nothing changed or replaced since the car was sold new. Factory leather seats are cracked from age, but the interior wood, headliner and door panels are in amazing shape. Paint is over 90% factory original, with only one ancient spot repair done in driver's side rear wheel area. The engine started up fine and appears to be in excellent condition with good compression. Entire engine compartment is factory original and in wonderful complete condition. The tool kit appears to have never been opened, with the factory plastic wrap still on the tire pressure gauge. Zero rust anywhere, undercarriage 100% solid and factory original. This MK2 has potential to be a collector grade original survivor car. We have done nothing besides clean the car and start the engine. Brakes and all mechanical systems need to be checked prior to driving.
