Car has a buy it now price of $5,500 for 6 days.

    Sellers description:
1961 Jaguar MK 2 it was my intention to build a race car but i decided it was to rare and to good to do that.
It is the first of the 3.8 models and has a sun roof and air it lived all its life in California and has sat undercover in Florida more recently.

Starts and drives i have not been fast enough to get out of second gear and the trans is a little noisy.
    Brakes work.
The water pump is noisy and leaks but a new one is included along with a new set of hoses.
The underside as you can tell from pics is solid as is all the important areas.
Some surface rust and dent repairs are visible.
The interior seats and carpet are in great shape the headliner needs replacing.
The wood needs to be done the steering wheel shifter console etc are all there and in good condition.
Chrome needs attention but nothing rotted through.
The engine holds 40 psi oil pressure and does not rattle apart from water pump.
The ac is all there but does not work.
    Sunroof is steel slide back.
Glass is good but windshield is cracked i have one comming and will be included.
These were one of Jaguars finest and i will miss it but my race cars come first.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
