Auction description:
Body colour: White
Date Manufactured:1968
Registration Number: PAD 250G
Chassis Number: PIK3429BW
Engine Number: 7K3517
History:
The second of the Daimler V8s in our sale today, this later model car is finished in white with blue leather upholstery. The engine is said to be in excellent condition and to have been treated to a full overhaul (including pistons, valves and bearings) at 45,000 miles and to have covered a further 35,000 miles since. The automatic transmission, wheels and tyres are also said to be excellent, while it is said to be 'very good' in the paintwork, bodywork and chassis departments. The interior trim is said to be 'very presentable'.

With just five owners from new, PAD 250G is reportedly 'a much loved and well cared for car which has always been garaged.' Riding on steel wheels clad with faux 'wire wheel' trims, it boasts an immobiliser and power steering. This pampered Daimler is offered for sale with lots of history including receipts, old MOT certificates, tool kit, operating and service handbooks and factory workshop manual. With an MOT until February 2008 and taxed until July 2007 it can be driven away from the saleroom today.

Guide price N/S 5,500 - 7,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
