This 1967 Jaguar 340 saloon is a right-hand-drive model that was acquired by the seller in the UK in 2014 and subsequently imported to the US. Finished in blue over blue leather upholstery, the car features a sliding sunroof, burl wood trim, a push-button AM radio, Smiths instrumentation, 15” wire wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes. Power comes from a 3.4-liter inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission, and work performed in 2024 involved refreshing the fuel system and replacing the brake pads, battery, and engine coolant. This 340 is now offered with a Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name, listing it as a 1968 model.
Chrome 15” knock-off wire wheels are retained by two-eared spinners and mounted with 185-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs, and the pads are said to have been replaced in June 2024.
The right-hand-drive cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench that were re-trimmed in blue leather with gray piping under prior ownership. They are joined by color-coordinated door panels and carpets, and burl wood trim accents the dashboard, doors, and window frames. A push-button digital radio is fitted in the factory location, and three-point front seatbelts have been installed.
The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 72k miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership.
The 3.4-liter inline-six is equipped with dual SU carburetors and was rated at 210 horsepower and 215 lb-ft of torque when new. The fuel pump, battery, and coolant were reportedly replaced in June 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
Chassis number P1J50850BW is consistent with a right-hand-drive Jaguar 340 built in 1967. The Pennsylvania title lists the model year as 1968 and carries “Out of Country” and Antique Vehicle brands.
