Sellers description:
THIS CAR IS PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA
What we have here is a very rare, totally rust free 1967 Jaguar 420 - California car - with 56,000 original miles on the odometer. The car was originally Willow Green but was tastefully re-painted around 1986 in Jaguar Alpine Green Metallic (JAG code 709). This beautiful exterior is complemented by a complementary rebuilt interior in fawn/beige using British leather kits and they are in very good condition.
This car has Automatic transmission, power steering, wire wheels, and air conditioning; quite a few options for British cars of this era. In addition, numerous upgrades include Lumenition, Stainless Steel Exhaust system, Wire Wheels rebuilt with Stainless Steel Spokes, Flex-Fan, Conversion to Silicone Brake Fluid, Retractable Front Seat Belts and 3-Point Belts for the rear seat; there was also a conversion to UK/Euro 7" outer headlamps and an excellent set of Avon 185-15 tires.
It was delivered in May 1968 by Charles Hornburg's dealership in Los Angeles and was acquired in by the current owner - who resides in California and summers in Nova Scotia - in 1988. Always garaged, it has been driven only from July to mid-October with no winter use. and consequently no corrosion. Everything works, and the car has been properly maintained. We have the original bill of sale and owner's manual, factory service manual and parts catalog, Heritage Certificate, and a substantial trove of 420 literature as well as 25 years full service history and some service records from prior owners.
