Ebay item 9/4/18
www.catzauto.com. This particular car P1F/25622DN which is a Jaguar 420 powered by a 4.2 XK engine with power steering, air conditioning left-hand drive and a manual transmission with DeNormanville overdrive. This Jaguar 420 was number 622 out of 643 vehicles manufactured during 1966 in the United Kingdom. This car was originally from Texas so there is very little rust! The doors, frame, fenders, hood, boot are solid, as shown along with all the other sheet metal parts and everything fits very nicely. The paint appears to be original with no signs of being repainted; it even has the original windscreen! The engine seems all intact and turned over freely by hand. The oil inside was clean with no water and there was antifreeze in the block lower section so I do not think the block is cracked from freezing. The interior appears to be original. This is a very straight, salvageable, unmolested Jaguar with the very desirable manual transmission with overdrive and factory A/C that does not deserve to be crushed. It is not too often that I find cars that haven't been parted out or rusted away. It will make a nice project for someone as- is and being auctioned at no reserve. This car comes with a clear Ohio title in the sellers name and will be sold with a bill of sale from a registered dealer's license from Ohio.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
