This car was in possession of the previous owner for over a decade and had really enjoyed it. He purchased it in L.A. and drove it back to Seattle without incident. During the time it was in his care, he restored much on the mechanical components of the car with the intention of a full restoration at some point but was unable to move forward with the overall completion of the car.
This is a very nice example of a 420S that has been well maintained; a California car that has always been garaged and not abused. Much has been done to this car to make it reliable mechanically but very little has been done cosmetically.
The paint is the original color (Willow Green) but was resprayed sometime in the distant past due to what appears to be some very minor damage to the front passenger door. The paint has all the blemishes and minor scrapes you would expect from a 40 year old paint job but would be fine for a driver.
There are a couple of very minor rust spots in the usual places along the rocker panels and a couple on the ledge above the front bumper (very minor, an easy fix) nothing bigger than a quarter.
Total Miles Unknown.

West Coast Classics are proud to present a cherished example of this long time California owned 1967 Jaguar '420' 4.2L 6 cylinder 'Sports Sedan'! Beautifully and professionally recently repainted in it's original 'Willow Green' factory color with a superb Black leather interior. The car has obviously been lovingly restored as necessary, with a recent repaint in the striking original 'Willow Green' color paint and with the original Black leather and burled walnut interior showing very well - not a concourse example by any means but a true survivor boasting obvious true pride of ownership!

This is obviously an extremely rare opportunity to own a beautiful surviving example of this rare and collectible 1967 Jaguar Mark 420 Sports Sedan - a perfect addition to any British car collection or an obvious choice for the Jaguar enthusiast!
I have owned other collector cars and this one drives the best by far!
