Current bid $3,716 reserve not met, 8 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Lexington, Kentucky. Seller is Blackhorse Motorworks. White panels on side have been repainted black.

Sellers description:
This is one heck of a nice car with a fabulously straight and rust free body, a so- so interior and a strong running gear with its robust 4.2 liter six cylinder engine. I believe the miles to be correct but we have to exempt it as that is the way we acquired it. This Jaguar originated in California and spent most of its life there, then Utah and finally Missouri. Things that will need attention are the sunroof which does not work and the air conditioning system that appears to be all there but does not function. The seats have been recovered but are not of high quality; however the door panels are excellent. The carpet has been restored. The dash is beautiful and all gauges function. Mechanically the car seems fine but has not been put thru a rigorous road test. I do not have a service history.

I bought this nice car this fall. Currently getting new brakes put on. Looking to redo the interior to original style. Real pretty car, gets lots of attention. I plan on taking it to car shows. If anyone has any more info on this car please email me!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
