Sellers description:
This is one of first 420's shipped here. It is the 217th car built and has matching numbers. This 420 has been in the New York area most of its life. The car has for options - wire wheels, rear heated window, automatic transmission and a radio. The car is complete; the only thing I can see that is missing is the jack and the tools. The car was originally British Racing Green with a black interior, but has been painted tan sometime in it's life. The interior of the car is in fair condition. The veneer on the wood is not peeling, but will need re-varnishing. The top of the dash is cracked. The leather on the 2 front seats is cracked. The back seat leather has a crack on the back of the seats. The carpets are the original carpets. The car has 40 pounds of oil pressure and runs strong and cool. At the present time the brake servo will need rebuilding but the car can be driven with the hand brake. The body will need some work. The driver's side lower sill could use some attention, but all the jacking points are intact.
