Sellers description:
1967 Jaguar 420 Offered as a Reserve auction.
This exceptional low mileage original car has had only 2 owners from new. and other than a respray is as it left the factory. Recent mechanical work including a complete fuel system overhaul results in a very nice driving car, not just a car that has been stored. I could find no corrosion on my inspection. The interior is in quite lovely condition with only the most minor wear noted as one would expect of a such a low mileage car. The brightwork is in exceptional condition as well, and the wire wheels gleam as new. The car is quite complete with a nearly intact tool kit, jack and hammer, and shop manual. We have recently had the brakes, overhauled, all belts and hoses replaced, the carburators serviced, installed a new battery, had all fluids changed including the transmission and filter, and new tires installed. This car runs very well and can be driven with confidence. The car is fitted with a factory Air Conditioning unit, as well as clock, an AM/FM Radio, and full compliment of gauges.

1967 Jaguar 420 Saloon with 35500 on the odometer. These miles are believed to be accurate.
The overall presentation of this Jaguar is very nice. Many of these cars were painted Dark Green, seeing a Gold one is a nice change and it wears it very well. The body was resprayed about 7 years ago and has held up very well. The brightwork, glass and moldings are all original and nice. This car has not spent much time outside or in the elements therefore, its been very well preserved.
The interior is beautiful and the dash is especially nice. The dash padding is flawless and the wood trim has held up great, not perfect but way better than most. Door panels, carpeting, headliner and seats are believed to be original and are nice. The leather seats are soft and not split. The steering wheel looks new and has no cracks. Overall, the interior shows lite wear and reflects the 35500 miles to be accurate.
Under the hood is a well maintained 4.2L that looks great. Very correct and original. The firewall and inner fenders are original paint. The polished aluminum components are still very nice along with many other details. This car retains all five of its knock-off wire wheels and the four on the ground have newer radial tires.
This is a well maintained 420 Saloon that has a great look and is ready to enjoy.
Price: $17,000
