The Jaguar 'S' type is one of the definitive classic saloon cars of all times. This 1968 example is believed to have covered only 65000 miles from new and we are informed that it has only had two previous owners during that time and it has been entered by the third and private owner who purchased the car over ten years ago.
He informs us that this car has the better 3.4 engine connected to the more desirable manual four speed gearbox with overdrive and we are further informed that the bodywork is unrestored but still looks very good even after being repainted some ten years ago.
These cars are now becoming very rare and although they never seem to be as desirable as the MK2 we have never understood it because they are a better driving car."
