This car was first registered to Janet Lee Auchincloss (also known as Janet Lee Bouvier Onassis), Jackie Kennedy's mother. The car was registered to Hammersmith Farms, the mansion she lived at and I also have a registration showing her address in DC where she lived whilst the Kennedy's were in the White House. Jackie Kennedy lived there also after the assassination and was known by staff to drive the car. The car is in a poor state of repair and I am commencing a restoration late 2016

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
