Ebay item 10/1/12
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966-Jaguar-3-8-S-/140859684408
Opening bid $2,500, no bids no reserve, 6 days left in auction. Complete VIN on the car is J66P1B78846BW.

Sellers description:
1966 Jaguar 3.8s, All original, (One Owner) it has been in the family since new, got painted brown over silver, no restoration has been done to it, 52k miles, mostly highway miles traveling in the western Southern states, California and Nevada, it has been in the garage for the last 19 years after the owner passed away in 1983.

The car runs but it is very advisable to replace all the fluids (Oil & Gas), tune up, & wiring, etc.

All original wheel caps are safe in two boxes full of Repair manuals and records, before it was parked the radio was working but now it is not, original paint Silver, great wood/Black soft leather due to not being exposed to the sun much, the driver carpet need to be replaced, good tires, smoke and accident free.

This is a wonderful example that easily be put into show condition.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
