The jaguar has been sitting for approx. 15 years, sitting on blocks. It has numbers matching engine to the car, which is kinda rare these days.
Most of the engines have been switched out or replaced with chevys, fords 6 cylinders and or V8's of some sort.
I have a clean Arizona title for the jag 3.8s.
This jaguar has the RARE and desireable 4spd w/OD, Jaguar's that have this option are always in demand, Something about shifting thru the gears and running the rpm's up..... It's just fun to do !!
The 3.8s engine turns freely and isn't locked-up !!! I haven't had the time to trying to start it, but again the engine isn't seized. The true mileage on the 3.8s is unknown.
This is a project 3.8s, It will need probably everything gone thru.. engine, interior, body, tires, everything.
The body overall is pretty solid, but it does have rust in both rocker/ sill's area that will need to be replaced with replacement rocker metal.
Jaguar 3.8s don't come up that often, and when they ..there usually automatic trans with a chevy 6 cyl.
Presently, I'm not looking to part the 3.8s, would like to keep it whole/ together.... But "might" consider it.
This is a 3.8s project vehicleand presently not running.
