This car was restored to be a driver that I could enjoy, and go on drives with a larger group. It had to look original, drive like a new car and BE RELIABLE.

This is a list of the improvements;

Drive train;
Rebuilt Jag 4.2L engine with Webber carburetors.
" transmission from later model XJ6.
" higher speed differential. The tach now reads 2500rpm @ 60mph for a quieter ride and more mpg.
New stainless steel wire wheels.
Installed retrofit RACK & PINION steering.
" electric cooling fan and high efficiency radiator to solve overheating.

Exterior
Stripped and painted. Rust free California car.
Re-chromed bumpers and polished all other chrome. (Some signs of 10 years use. See pictures)

Interior;
New Connolly leather seats.
" carpets
" headliner
Strip and refinish all original wood.
Installed an Antique wood steering wheel. (I will include the original with car)
Removed the original radio and installed a different one with a tape deck.
