LISTING THIS 1967 JAGUAR MODEL 340 SEDAN FOR A FRIEND. THIS IS A NICE BARN FIND THAT SHOWS 82,866 MILES ON THE ODOMETER. THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN STORAGE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE CAR DOES RUN, AND THE ENGINE SOUNDS GOOD, HOWEVER, THE CARBS NEED A REBUILD AND LEAK AT THE DRIED GASKETS. HE BRAKES ARE ALSO IN NEED OF WORK FROM SITTING. SOMEONE BEGUN TO DO A REPAINT AND TOOK SOME SMALL TRIM, LIGHT, EMBLEMS ETC. OFF THE CAR AND THEY HAVE BEEN LOST OVER THE YEARS. THE CAR APPEARS ORIGINAL AND HAS NO EVIDENCE OF HAVING BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT.
THE INTERIOR IS IN DECENT CONDITION EXCEPT FOR SOME DOOR PANELS THAT NEED TO BE REPLACED. HE SEATS ARE NICE. THE WOOD TRIM NEEDS REFRESHING. THE CAR IS BEGINNING TO SHOW SOME MINOR RUST AREAS IN THE USUAL SPOTS. THE FLOORS ARE STRONG AND THE TRUNK IS EXCEPTIONALLY SOLID. THE DOORS, HOOD AND TRUNK CLOSE WELL AND HAVE GOOD BODY LINES.
THIS JAG HAS A GOOD, TRANSFERABLE NEW YORK STATE REGISTRATION.
THIS JAG WOULD MAKE A NICE PROJECT NOT REQUIRING A MAJOR RESTORATION TO MAKE A NICE DRIVER.
