This 1967 Jaguar 340 is finished in white over black leather, and power is supplied by a 3,442cc inline-six mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The car was reportedly purchased new in Oakland, California and was relocated by the original owner to Hawaii, where it was stored for 25 years under prior ownership until the seller acquired it in 2018. Equipment includes 15″ wire wheels, chrome bumpers with overriders, air conditioning, bucket seats, burl wood trim, and a wood-rimmed XKE steering wheel. The air conditioning has been converted to R134a refrigerant and an aluminum radiator has been installed during current ownership. This late-production Mk II is now offered with removed parts, a set of steel wheels, and a clean Hawaii title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in white and features chrome bumpers with overriders and a driver-side exterior mirror. The seller notes that touch-up paint has been applied to blemishes.

Aftermarket 15″ wire wheels fitted during current ownership are wrapped in Bridgestone tires, and the removed steel wheels can be seen in the walk-around video below and will be included in the sale. Standard equipment included four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features bucket seats, a center console, and door panels upholstered in black, and the upper dash and door panels are trimmed in burl wood. Amenities include air conditioning, crank windows, front vent windows, lap belts for the front occupants, and a JSD-20158 AM/FM head unit. The seller notes that the air conditioning was converted to R134a refrigerant in September 2018, and the volume knob is missing from the radio.

A wood-rimmed XKE steering wheel frames Smiths and Lucas instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an inset clock. The five-digit odometer shows just under 44k miles, approximately 2k of which have been added during current ownership.

The 3,442cc inline-six was factory rated at 210 horsepower and 215 lb-ft of torque when new. An aluminum radiator has been fitted.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Borg Warner 35 three-speed automatic transmission. Corrosion is present in the floor pans, and underbody.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
