*From a Californian Jaguar collection

*Fully re-commissioned

*Bodywork and paint said to be excellent; original interior

Coming from a private Californian Jaguar collection, this Jaguar MKII 3.4 automatic is vendor-assessed as having excellent bodywork, superb Old English White paintwork, glass, chrome and chassis. The motorcar has been the subject of full recommissioning since arriving in the U.K. earlier this year. Our vendor reports the contrasting red leather interior is all original and is in very good order. The engine has been recently fully serviced and is said to be excellent for starting, running and its presentation is very good. The automatic transmission has also been serviced and the drive train is rated as very good. Both suspension and brakes have been overhauled with new Gaz adjustable shock absorbers and front discs being fitted. Offered complete with owners handbook and JDHT Heritage Certificate. Our vendor is at pains to describe the extraordinary original condition of this MKII.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
