The Surrey vendor tells us that this 1970-built 420G saloon has been in the ownership of the current recorded keeper since 1979 and there are loads of bills in the history file, which would indicate that it has been sympathetically renovated only as and where necessary. The carpets and roof lining have been renewed, for example, and the boot retrimmed. The overall condition of bodywork, which is painted in light blue, the navy blue interior, and both 4.2 six and 3-speed automatic transmission are described as being in excellent order. On file, too, are 24 old MOTs and an original handbook. The tool kit is correct and intact.
Really good examples of the 420G, like this one, have become hard to find. You need look no further.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
