1965 Jaguar Mk. II (3.4 litre)
Registration ACN 227D
Chassis Number A169496
Engine Number KJ75618
Odometer reading 249 miles
Estimate £19,000 - £25,000

Manual example with overdrive
Matching numbers example
Fully restored 2015/2016

Considered by many in Jaguar circles to be the best combination for the iconic Mk. II Jaguar, this example is offered in opalescent metallic blue and is a matching numbers 3.4 litre manual with overdrive motorcar. This example is in splendid condition throughout and was originally supplied to Jaguar Export in South Africa in November of 1965, this can be identified by the Dating Certificate found within the history file. Upon inspection, the car starts on the button with a fabulous note produced from the exhaust and engine. During our appraisal we were given the opportunity to raise the car and we were delighted to see the underneath presents as impressively as the remainder of the car and contained within the boot is the spare wheel. We are informed between 2015-2016 the car was restored which included a new wiring loom and retrim with new chrome to complement the paintwork and optional Webasto sunroof.

This is a great example of an iconic Mk. II with the best combination of the larger and powerful 3.4 engine coupled to the manual gearbox and working overdrive. With an attractive estimate this is a great drivers' car which is sure to be a solid investment.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
