Ebay item 4/26/17

Car has a buy it now price of $6,950 for 20 days, seller kurttannermotorcars, 0 miles given.
Sellers description:
Offered here for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this decent MK 1 Jaguar 4-door saloon. These pretty mid-size saloons were produced during the same period as the XK150 models, and share lots of styling cues to those models. This vehicle has lived in California for at least the last 20 years and was previously owned by an architect before being acquired by the present seller.
About 15 years ago, this car received a new paint job and interior, that wasn't quite finished at the time. Most of the chromework was also replated and still presents well. The car acquired some scrapes and a couple dings over it's period in storage, but they can be retouched to keep the car in nice driver condition.
The car currently isn't in running condition. There is evidence of a restored radiator and new tires. The car's engine was running 15 years ago but it's current condition is unknown. The car would at least need fuel and brake system work before attempting to drive it.
The car's underside is pictured and there is some noted repairs needed to the driver and passenger footwells. There is some previous damage to the spare tire well.
The seller has the car's windshield which will be pictured soon. The car is accompanied by several boxes of parts that are all related to the car and work that was performed. Please look at those items.
Overall, a pretty Jaguar saloon that needs finishing up to make it a classic enjoyable driver.

This 1959 Jaguar Mk I saloon is a running project car that is finished in Opalescent silver-blue over a blue vinyl interior. The seller acquired it in a partially-disassembled state in July 2017, and has since partially re-assembled the car, performed a valve adjustment, replaced the ignition system, installed a new fuel tank, and got the engine running. Power is provided by a non-original 3.4L XK inline-six backed by a 3-speed Borg Warner automatic transmission. This Jaguar Mk I is offered with a selection of uninstalled components, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, and a clean Florida title.
Originally Cornish Grey, the car received a color-change to Opalescent silver-blue under previous ownership. The seller reports that many of the larger chrome pieces have been re-plated, and the smaller items have been polished.
Chrome wire wheels are mounted with winged knock-off lugs, and the seller reports that the installed tires are newer. The windshield has been installed with black silicone sealant.
Originally red, the cabin was reupholstered in blue vinyl with matching carpets under previous ownership. Additional photos of the wood dash and instrumentation are provided in the gallery, and factory instrumentation includes a 120 mph speedometer, tachometer with 5,500 rpm redline, an analog clock, combination water temperature and oil pressure gauge, and a charging gauge. 5 miles are shown on the 5-digit odometer, and the true total is unknown.
The 3.4-liter XK inline-six is not original to the car according to the attached certificate from the Jaguar Heritage Trust. The seller reports that the engine was replaced and rebuilt prior to his ownership, and reportedly features newer pistons, bearings, and rings. The crankshaft was reportedly re-ground ten thousandths undersize. The seller has adjusted the valves, and installed a positive-ground breaker point ignition system.
The 3-speed Borg-Warner automatic transmission reportedly works in the forward gears, but does not work correctly in reverse. Per the seller, the fuel tank has been replaced. The chassis plate appears to be a re-stamped reproduction. Uninstalled parts include interior wood, window trim, and more.
