Ebay item 4/22/08 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-MARK-IX-1960-JAGUAR-MARK-IX_W0QQitemZ320243059490
Opening bid $10,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 9 days left in auction. Buy it now price $20k.
Sellers description:
This car shows only 6,132 miles. I can not confirm the mileage but have service records from 1999 and they show just over 3k miles.I really have no idea the correct mileage of this car. This car sat inside for over 20 years, and was left to a niece of the original owner. The car was in San Diego for 40 years a 1 owner car, I bought the car from a gentleman in Mn. in 2003, I have receipts from him showing well over 27 K that he spent on the car to get the car up to date. He used the car for weddings since his wife was a wedding photographer for several years. Owning a body shop I bought the car, disassembled the complete car, stripped the panels to bare metal, primed, blocked, and refinished the car with the original Cotswold Blue. I have over 80 pictures of each panel before, during, and completed. The car was equipt with bucket seats,3.8 liter engine, 4 wheel disc brakes, factory a/c, (no compressor or brkts), auto trans, and sunroof. I retired before I had a chance to complete the car, so there is still the interior work that should be redone. The seats have been recovered in a heavy Blue vinyl, and look ok but they are not the way they should be, all interior was removed and saved. This car needs very little to complete.
