1959 Jaguar MK 9 four door being sold with.. NO RESERVE! . Very long caring ownership by this retired lawyer and county judge and much money spent over the years on this appreciating British classic. The car sat for five years stored in a local shop where it was last cared for. Last year it was taken out of storage carbs cleaned and started and driven to owners home nearby where it has been sitting since. Runs very well but now requires a charge or new battery. The good is a rebuilt motor that runs perfectly and very nice restored interior. Wood looks untouched and is very nice. Has factory sunroof that does not leak! Nice clocks too.Chrome is decent and body is pretty straight with some dings and paint presentable from 10 feet? but there are several areas of rust coming through paint and some rot around headlights etc. The automatic transmission is slipping badly enough to require towing and leaking atf as well.
Serviced the family reliably for many years but now needs some TLC or can be used as an awesome parts car. In the pics you can see several pages of parts and work done over the years. Also comes with a shop manual speedo cable plugs and ignition wire set and some small parts. Motor is 3.8 litre.
