This example has amassed just over 78,000 original miles thus far. This is a good solid example with an older repaint from white to back and original interior. The car boasts solid mechanical upkeep including brake jobs and replaced fuel system with electric fuel pumps. It is a pleasure to cruise and has a beautiful patina about it. The windshield surround chrome has just been restored and is included. The car was last painted in black laquer in the 1960s and is in good condition, recently waxed, but showing patina. The body is solid and straight with only minor imperfection. There are some paint buff through marks on the trunk lid notably. This car is an excellent dry climate Jaguar, not suffering from the corrosion issues these cars have. The upholstery is showing its age, but intact throughout. The leather is cracking on the hides. The seats are covered front to back. The rear seat bottom is in better condition. New front and rear seat correct covers are available in leather at a cost of approximately $2,000. We've kept this cat original and its a grand old car. This Jaguar is also equipped with the factory steel sunroof, easily opening and closing.
