Car returns to ebay 10/13/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1958-Jaguar-Mark8-4-door-needs-restoring-rare-barn-find- ...
Opening bid $1,500, no reserve, no bids yet 5 days left in auction. Buy it now price $1,800.

Previous listing received no bids.

Sellers description:
I do want to add that the Front windshield does have a rock cracks on upper Driver side. You may be able to drive but probably would want to replace Front windshield eventually. All other glass is flat glass and ok.I bought this in San Diego calif I was told they had a title I drove from Texas to pick Her up and seller said He could not find title but would mail to me later. I never recieved She is 90% complete meaning that I have a lot of parts in boxes and looks like everything is there. The previous owner did start to take the wood dash and other parts off to start the restoration process. He did say He put a battery and had her running but I have not started her. I did check the oil on the dipstick and it looks clean and can turn the motor over with my hand. I do not know the actual miles so I put 100,000 on the list. She has very little rust but remember she is a barn find and been setting for at least 20 years. She need full restoration meaning seats and door panels need to be re-upholstered and headliner needs redone. Most of the wood dash is not bad with some parts could be redone with Oak plywood and stained. She is a beautiful one of a kind,I really hate to sell Her but I am 61 years old and just had a double Hernia operation. She has been setting in my metal shop for the last 3 years and I realized I will Never have the Money or time to restore Her the way She Needs to be. I am also selling my 55 Jaguar on Ebay. This will leave me with my 57 chevy truck and a 49 ford Coupe to work on and that is plenty. I do Have Both fender skirts, all 4 hubcaps and most all chrome. She is the original double overhead cam six I believe and have listed Her Numbers.and She has the automatic transmission. seller told me he had her running she will turn over.
