This car was in Norway for very many years

I have now managed to trace some of the Norwegian history . The car was owned by Morten Frederiksen , of Godvik , Bergen in 2001. he sold it in February 2001 to Edward Jansen of Mathopen, Bergen who retained the car for some years , as there is reference to it in a Jaguar club magazine in 2011. However, very little use was made of it according to the mileages at annual inspections, only about 1650 miles being covered between 1998 and 2015 . It appears to have returned to England in early 2017

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
