Sellers description:
99% rust free Jaguar MK7. The car was bought from an estate from the original owner. I have copy of the Pink Slip CA 1953 VIN according to that PINK slip B70068. I know the vin is NOT that number that is how it was registered in CA. And that is how it shows in MY CA TITLE. VIN # is : Chassis 737036GB Engine B700G-8 (I believe they used that as VIN) Body L015818 Engine is 6 Cyl
Upon request I will send you videos of the engine running. The fuel pumps are NOT working so the way I was able to start the engine was with a fuel canister on top of the hood so that fuel will go down towards the two (2) SU Carb. I only have the KEY for the ignition I do not have keys for the car around doors, trunk etc... they are open. The main rust spots are the small diameter circle around the firewall and around the trunk next to the spare tire. The remaining Rist around trim etc... its very superficial. I have some extra spare parts that will come with the car like a new rebuilt starter , two (2) new trafficators lights, and some gaskets. The car will go front and backwards but I did not take it for a drive due to the fuel pumps not working. This is a believe a restoration project but it will be up to you if you want to drive the way it is. Yes, the brakes works. The lights works front and back fairly new exhaust system. The car does NOT have rust on the doors or rocker panels its a very clean straight car great for restoration. The car needs a full paint job.
