Jaguar - MK7 M Overdrive - 1955
Located in: Germany - with German registration - 66000 mi - 3 - Good condition: visible signs of wear and general ageing

History: The car was shipped to New Zealand in December 1954 and sold to the board of an ore mine. Around 2000 it came to Holland and was sold in 2005 to a fine sheet metal worker in Germany who restored the body and used the car for 2-3 years for wedding trips before we took it over.

The car has been inspected by a specialist every year and all problems have been solved immediately - invoices are available. In 2016-2018, the mechanic was extensively overhauled at a cost of over 30,000 euros (see below for details). Since then, the car has been running perfectly and only needs annual services. This "Big Saloon" Jaguar always travelled to the annual meetings (England, Holland, Black Forest, etc.) on its own wheels without any problems. Even after a long standstill (winter) it starts without problems. Inside, the leather and wood are mostly still in their original condition with patina (not broken).

In recent years, the following has been done:
Spring 2021 600 Euros, service, indicator relay and other small things
Spring 2020: 460 Euros, service
Spring 2019: 850 Euros, service + MOT
Spring 2018: 2335 Euros, steering gear and overdrive at specialists in NL
Spring 2018: 8200 Euros, assembly work for above plus gearbox overhauled + service.
Winter 16/17: 19.500 Euros, for complete engine overhaul -
Winter 2015: 3100 Euros, carburettor, heater and heat exchanger reworked, new seat belts in red, electronic ignition fitted.
