Details
The car offered here is from a private collection and is being offered on behalf of an estate. The car is thought to have had only two owners and to have covered only 27,000 miles. While the vendors believe this to be the truth, they are unable to warrant either fact. The condition of the car and the presence of the original Buff Log Book strengthen the case for a low miles, low owner car.

Finished in black with magnolia leather, the car has the 3.4 litre XK engine, which is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission. It is equipped with a factory steel sunroof and is described as being in excellent condition throughout.

The car has been carefully stored for twelve years, on blocks and has been regularly started and run. The car now has a new MoT.

A rare opportunity to buy an outstanding example of this desirable model.

Estimate £15000-20000

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
