This is the 346th right hand drive car built. It as had a full body off bare metal rebuild the body was chemically stripped and repaired with no rust found.
The differential and gear box overhauled, the engine has had rings and a valve service. The body has been repainted in two pack Pastel Blue Metallic the original colour. The interior trim was bought in from BAS International in the U K and fitted buy a local trimmer.
The interior woodwork was redone buy Carwood in Cheltenham Vic and the wiring kit was from Vintage Wiring Harness of Ringwood Vic. Most of the chrome has been re-plated.
The chassis and suspension has all been re-bushed. New window and door seals fitted, In other words a full restoration has been done.
The car comes with five 5" rims fitted with 600.16 cross ply tyres and four 5.5" rims fitted with 16" radial tyres. I use the radials for club runs and the cross ply's for Concours shows. Trophy's won include Best 1950's car at the W.W,V&V Rally 2012 a Bronze in overall Concours and the Concours Sportscar Restoration best MK7,8&9 Trophy at the Kings School Display Day 2012.
Then at the 2013 Easter National Rally at Wollongong a Silver Award in Concours d'Elegance, a ACJC Class Winner Chassis Based Large Saloons. and the Bryson Perpetual Trophy National Team Trophy Chassis No 710346 Engine No A2266-8 Conditional Registration 44149H Not transferable.
This is remarkable restoration worthy of a good home.
