First owners were Dr. & Mrs. Arthur B. King of Athens Pennsylvania.
Mrs. King ran over a high rock, damaging the crankcase, causing the oil to run out and burning up the engine. A new short block was installed with the original head and accessories.
Sold in 1965 to the second owner Gerald Eugene Hendy of Elmira New York.
Car was originally black.
