Sellers description:
1950 JAGUAR MARK V DROP HEAD COUPE AUTOMOBILE
This motorcar would make a wonderful addition to any classic automobile enthusiast's collection! This motorcar has been in our family`s collection since 1997 and has been a very unique and classy auto for parades, car shows and just plain cruising! This particular model has a few changes from the original factory configuration that were on the automobile at the time we acquired it. These changes include an upgraded 1960 Jaguar engine, wire spoke wheels, white metallic paint, and a top featuring a removable middle panel allowing for comfort and fresh air without having to put the entire top down (although it looks magnificent with the top completely stowed). A jaguar expert who recently reviewed the automobile said that the price that we were asking was very fair, considering that he thought the vehicle was a great example of a Mark V, even with the non-standard modifications previously mentioned. This vehicle features a metallic white exterior with gorgeous red leather interior. This automobile was manufactured for the United States and features a left hand drive setup. The Chassis for this vehicle is# 647536 and the Body is # DH1961. Recent service includes new rubber boots on tie rod ends, new rubber bushings on sway bar, installation of newly reconditioned radiator with all new hoses, new spark plugs, wires and coil, completely rebuilt carburetors and adjusted linkage, rebuilt throttle arm, replaced fuel line, and new electric fuel pump. This car has been kept in a climate controlled facility and as you can see, there has been a great amount of care and attention to detail spent on this vehicle.
