Jaguar Mk V DHC (Drop Head Coupe), year 1951. Colour Burgundy red over black with a dark red leather interior, dark red carpet and a black convertible hood. Chassis number: 647516, engine number: Z4087, matching numbers. This beautiful Jaguar Mk V DHC was just finished after a full, top class 'body off' restoration by Upper classics of New Zealand. The automobile is in perfect concourse (show) condition! A photo reportage of the restoration is present (hundreds of photographs) and detailed invoices are present. The tool set in the boot lid is complete!

Hey, I think this could be a European delivery when new, since it had trafficators it most likely was not delivered new to the USA as already my DHC 647194 had directional indicators (flasher). or then it could of course be yet another Canadian car as it looks like trafficators were allowed in there. But in Europe they were used and perhaps prefered quite long, all early MK VII's sold in Finland 1952 had trafficators.
