    Car offered at:
    www.vandp.net/sales/1536/1950-jaguar-mk-v-3-5-litre-3-position-dhc/

    Seller's description:
    Jaguar MK V 3.5 Litre 3-position DHC
    Year: 1950
    Chassis no: 647242
    Registration: BSL 448
    Price: £59,000

This stunning example that we have the privilege of handling is not only presented with the more desirable 3.5 litre engine but the drophead configuration are becoming increasingly hard to find. BSL 448 was completely restored by Davenport cars in the late 90’s and finishing in the year 2000. The restoration is heavily documented and the end result was truly marvellous.

The MK V is still offered in beautiful condition today which is a testament to both the restorers and high level of car taken with BSL since this point.

Thanks to recent mechanical works she is driving and handling beautifully and is in our showroom ready for viewing.

Classified ad price: £100,000 seller vandpcars

1950 Jaguar MK V 3.5 Litre 3-position DHC For Sale.

    Registration: BSL 448

    Chassis no: 647242

    Engine no: T 9633

The MK V is still offered in beautiful condition today which is a testament to both the restorers and high level of care taken with BSL448 since this point. It is in great running condition & is used regularly for short runs on fine days with the roof rarely being put up.

The exterior paint is white & in super condition thoughout. The roof is maroon mohair & again is in really fine order looking like new. Unmarked maroon leather & carpets are found to the inerior along with eautiful burr walnut woodwork.

We sold this car to the current owner in 2019 in Holland & the car currently has Dutch number plates so no Tax is due if sold within the EEC. It is located just south of the Hook of Holland in Ouddorp where it may e viewed by prior appointment.

    Otherwise same as above

It is a 3 position convertible with the roof attached in three positions, closed, half open and fully open. The tool box is located in the tailgate. This is beautifully positioned. The engine is a straight-6 engine with a capacity of 3.5 L and has sufficient power. a beautiful touring car for a beautiful spring or summer day.

LHD chassis number as expected on a car delivered new to the USA, BUT the car has been converted to RHD, in the UK I presume?
