One of the three last MKV's shipped to FInland on the same ship, two 2 1/2 Litres and this one 3 1/2 LItre, the only known survivor of the 3 1/2 Litres sold in Finland.

First owner's name could also be "Eric Duncker" or "Erik Dunker", no further leads. Restored in 1990.

Some further data, the 1st owner was Mr. Erik Duncker (MSc. in Engineering), who founded Ata Gears Oy, a Finnish company that still produces powertrain and gearbox components for the automotive industry and race cars (spiral bevel gears).

He later bought also a new Jaguar Mark VII.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
