    Ebay item 6/17/13
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1950-JAGUAR-MARK-V-UNRESTORED-ORIGIONAL-/261231143891
Car has a buy it now price of $16,500 for 5 days.

    Sellers description:
1950 JAGUAR MK-V --Original paint and interior.

I am offering my 1950 MK-V that I have owned for over ten years. I hate to sell because I know these unrestored cars are rare, but it's time.

This car is a running driving car that has been fitted with a 3.5 liter twin cam engine block # V3923-8, head # KF5798-8 and nicely fitted.

The car has never been painted or repaired , the interior is original in green leather , the carpet is the only thing that has been renewed.

All the electric's work, lights and gages work. I have a push rod engine if you want for extra $.

    Car returns to ebay 2/11/14
    www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-FOUR-DOOR-JAGUAR-MARK-V-ALL-ORIGINAL-RARE-SURVIVOR ...
Opening bid $12,500 reserve not met, no bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Los Angeles, California. 90k miles.

    Sellers description:
I purchased this rare survivor car in July, 2013. After I had it trucked to my home (where all the photos were taken) I've been unable to drive or do anything with the car due to serious health issues, which is why I'm reluctantly selling it.

When I purchased the Mark V, the seller, who owned the car for ten years said, the car is in running and driving condition, though the tires will need to be replaced in the near future.

This Mark V is ALL ORIGINAL, NEVER BEEN PAINTED, NEVER BEEN RESTORED.

IT'S AN ABSOLUTELY RARE SURVIVOR CAR except for the carpeting, which has been replaced. The original carpet fittings and edging have been retained.

All the gauges and lights work. The interior is original green leather has the expected wear.

The car comes with a Jaguar Heritage Production certificate which validates that the vehicle is left hand drive, is a Jaguar Mark V 3 ½ litre.

The date of manufacture was February 12, 1949

    The chassis number is 627690

The Gearbox number is SH 6304

    Manual Transmission.

The original distributor was Hoffman in New York

The Date of Dispatch was March 23, 1950

    THE ENGINE ISN'T ORIGINAL.

Jaguar Heritage says "the Engine is from a 1958 XK 150 and the current cylinder head type KF is from a Jaguar Mark I 3.4 litre of about the same year."

The engine fits perfectly and appears totally original.

The only thing I did is put in a new battery, before I was forced to stop.

The car comes with an extra fuel pump, some tools, an original "Operating and Maintenance Handbook, issued by Jaguar Cars LTD, Coventry England; An Early Saloons parts catalogue; an Original Mark V Spare Parts Catalogue.

To my knowledge, the only missing parts are: two hinges for the tool kit lid in the trunk, a lens for the right rear light and an internal handle for the sun roof. It comes with key and locks that work.

The black paint is sixty-four years old and has the expected spidering, chipping and expected wear.

The chrome is all original and amazingly unpitted.

The car is complete and a true and rare survivor car.
