I have bought this car recently. It was still in its original condition, unrestored, with its original paint and red interior. This car was the car presented in the salon of Paris in 1949. I'll try to restore it, with respect of its original patina.

Fanstastic car! Take great care of it (her ;) It seems the hubcaps have been changed later, but that's an easy detail to change (body colour between the endge and center and outside the "spinner" in the depression) Cheers!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
