    Details
Offered here is a lovely example of the MKV, which is equipped with the highly desirable 3.5 litre engine and was once the property of Jaguarphile Paul Skilliter. The car has competed in the Le Jog rally and Overland to India. In order to achieve reliability, the car has been equipped with servo assisted disc brakes, 5 speed transmission, 2 pairs of Lucas "Owl Eyes" spot lamps, roof rack and Range Rover tyres.

Finished in Ascot fawn with red leather, the car is said to be in excellent order, especially mechanically, as it has been maintained regardless of cost.

A fabulous Jaguar with great provenance offering the adventurous a great opportunity to go classic rallying or just enjoy.

Note: We have a wonderful overview, written by the vendor, of the preparation for and competing in the Indian rally. This is essential reading and found by logging onto baronsjaguarmkv.yolasite.com

Note: This description is provided by the vendor and unless otherwise stated is 'Not Verified' by Barons or any person employed by Barons. Prospective purchasers are advised to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any statements made, whether they be statements of fact or opinion.
    Estimate £25000-30000

I have a large poster of this car from the time it was still owner by Paul Skilleter, I will add a photo once I get a chance to take a good one of it. Cheers!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
