1950 Jaguar Mark V 3.5
NO RESERVE!!
She is a project but not one to far off from running right. I have a new GS tank being redone now and we got her running through a gas can. She has been in same collection of jags since the mid 80's and now needs to be put back together in form of dash, tank, brakes (new drums installed) and carpet. She is far from a rust bucket and only has the mild typical rust.
I said no to 9000 in January..... Oops?
The interior is original and the seats are still in great shape. Carpet is all there but needs to be cleaned. Dash wood is there as well but needs to be sanded down and re varnished. The gas tank will come with car but will be needing to be installed and get her right to run. I spent more than I wanted so the next owner can take her to driver time.
Original paint has nice patina and will shine nice. Back bumper needs to be straightened and the front can be polished up to driver quality.
She is a worthy project and with the 3.5 along the original black/biscuit color combination should be excellent choice to start with. Rust is typical but she is a dry car and no holes in the body, floors or trunk just a little around the side boards but they will hold my 200 pounds so far from "OMG nooooo"" even the skirt rails are solid. Skirts are there! Coker tires are good and ten years old with no miles or cracking.
All in all she is a solid car with great upside and COMPLETE minus tools. She needs a couple of days of tinkering and deep cleaning and you are on to something.
