Owner: Jeffery Hill

I started my first restoration in 1975 of a 1928 Dodge Tourer from 2 trailer loads of parts that took 7 years to complete and is still on the road. The MKV, bought in parts from another restorer being his left overs from 2 vehicles. I have owned it for 30 years with 15 years in-storage before starting a 15 year restoration, finishing with the vehicle registered. All work except the interior trim of both cars being done by me in my garages.

The above chassis # 622378 as listed in this register is the chassis # of my vehicle.
The vehicle was purchased in 1989 for a restorer and it was his parts unit
the info listed in the 1st section above as "original" does not relate to my vehicle but to a mix of plate and parts
thus the body is G7079 but the motor I have is Z1509 and the seperate gear box is SH 8746

the info on the mounted body build plate is as follows
chassis 623617
body G7079
engine 1509
gearbox sh8074

I can forward a photo of the plate and other # as on chassis, motor and gear box to confirm this if necessary.
I trust you can make appropiate entries, may be 2 for others to match engine/chassis/gearbox to original build? cheers Jeffery

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
