Ebay item 2/3/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $10,000, no reserve, 1 bid 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This is an extremely nice 48 Jaguar for it's age. The body is in primer. It is considered a 4-5 passenger limousine. It comes with a bill of sale as it has never been licensed in the U.S. It came straight from overseas. It is a right hand drive car with all 4 doors suicide. It has a crank style moonroof. It has a crank out front windshield. It still has a lot of the factory tools that came with the car. This car is about 97% complete as far as parts go. The hood pins, door hinges, and wheel knock offs are brass. I'm not 100% sure it runs but the guy i bought it off of told me he used to drive it every year in the parade. I don't do mechanical work so i never messed with it or got that far with it. It's taking up to much room in my shop and don't have the time to finish it so it needs to go. This would make someone a great project car. I sent in a request to the Jaguar Archives recently and should be getting back pretty soon a history certificate. They take all the serial numbers off the vehicle and trace it's history down. This car would be a real head turner when finished. It's a 3 1/2 Litre engine. It was rated at a top speed of 90 MPH. Pretty good for back then.

Car returns to ebay 4/1/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Other-/231897740519
Current bid US $7,500 reserve not met 1 bid 9 days left in auction. Seller maril925, car now said to be in Charlotte, Vermont, 89k miles.
Sellers description:
This is a solid restoration project. It was bought by a guy who can't finish the project. This Mark four has the most desirable, largest 3.5 Litre engine which is in running condition. The body of the car is very solid. The frame of the car will need some work. The car is not in driving condition because the splines in the rear axles are worn. The grill, and P100 headlamps are in nice condition as is the leaping Jaguar hood ornament.
The dash, gauges, and seats are original. The floors are solid. The wheels are solid. The knock offs need to be rechromed. The mileage I estimate as 89 thousand or less. The car can be seen in Bristol, Vermont.
