This unique Jaguar Mk. V Drophead Coupé left the factory as a saloon in 1949. Purchased by Mr. Anthony Tolock, who had been involved with Jaguar Cars, Reg Parnell Racing and who also raced Aston Martins at Le Mans, he set about a complete, four year, restoration of this car, rebuilding it into this stunning Three Position Drophead Coupé. The car is finished in Old English White with full red leather interior, red soft top, side screens, tonneau cover and spare wheel cover. The attention to detail includes matching red piping to the running boards and rear wheel spats. The car is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in November 2012, a photographic record of the complete restoration and a file containing old MoT test certificates and tax discs. The 3½ Jaguars of this period are becoming one the most sort after classic cars available as they have the distinct looks of the period with the mechanical reliability of later classic cars; this is a unique classic Jaguar which is ideal to use for rallies and events both in the United Kingdom, or anywhere in Europe.
