1963 JAGUAR Mark X - Lot 137
Serial number 351857BW
Delivered new in France
Only two owners for 47 years
French title
This is a Jaguar Mark X delivered new in France, December 18th, 1963. It has known only two owners from 1973 to today. It was in 2006 that its current owner acquired it with 88,685 kilometers on the odometer. The Jaguar was then restored in terms of bodywork and mechanics for five years. A painting was carried out, while the engine saw its three carburetors being redone, its fuel circuit renovated (petrol pumps, tanks, hoses). The exhaust line was replaced, just like the radiator, the automatic transmission was changed for another. The brakes were also revised with new calipers, master cylinders and pads. In 2015, many silent blocks were replaced, the rear axle was removed for cleaning and painting. The steering gear was overhauled, like the dynamo. Four Yokohama tires were also installed. Recently, in 2019, the spark plugs, the ignition brakers and the capacitor were replaced. It was thus able to obtain its technical control without any defect last December. Today it displays a little over 90,500 km on the odometer, it was used mainly at weddings and exhibitions. It is therefore a luxurious, maintained automobile, with the most luxurious cabin where tan leather and varnished wood meet.
