History: This Jaguar was delivered new in Italy by the importer Delecroix in September 1965. Special feature on the model intended for the Italian market: this example has indicator repeaters at the front. This car was then imported to France and the current owner has owned it since 2016.
General: This Jaguar represents the opportunity to acquire a healthy car, rebuilt to a high standard and in line with its factory configuration. It is in superb overall condition and has recently benefited from numerous maintenance costs. We have a large history file including invoices, appraisals, certificates, etc.
Exterior: The paint, in its original color, has recently been polished and offers a very nice harmonious appearance. The chrome shines well and is in superb condition. The alignment of the openings is homogeneous and the optics are flawless. The original Rudge rims are in perfect presentation condition.
Interior: Inside, the view is flattered by the quality and excellent condition of the materials used. The leather, the door panels, the carpets and the headlining have benefited from a high-quality refurbishment, faithful to the original. The wooden dashboard and the interior fittings show no defects. All of the on-board instrumentation is functional.
Mechanics: The 3.8 engine fed by two SU HD6 carburettors runs and starts perfectly hot and cold. The suspension and braking components are good. The gearshift is excellent, the gears don't creak and the overdrive is functional. The work carried out in recent years makes it a reliable and versatile car that can be used on a daily basis.
Underframes: The underframes are sound and free from corrosion.
