This 1963 Jaguar Mk II is finished in brown over beige leather and powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission featuring overdrive. Additional equipment includes driving lights, wire wheels with whitewall tires, rear fender skirts, and fold-down rear seat tables as well as modifications such as fuel injection, air conditioning, a modern CD stereo, and electronic ignition. The car spent time in Arizona before being purchased by the seller’s brother-in-law, from whom it was acquired by the seller nine years ago. This Mk II is offered with several service records, three shop manuals, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The car was repainted mushroom brown under previous ownership according to the seller, and features a Jaguar leaper hood ornament, dual fender mirrors, driving lights, and removable rear fender skirts. The seller notes rust in previously-repaired areas of the skirts as well as bubbling and a blemish on the right rear quarter panel. Paint chips are also pictured where the upper trunk lid meets the body.
Chrome 15″ wire wheels with two-eared knock-off nuts wear 640-15 BFGoodrich wide-whitewall tires that were installed in 2016. Stopping is handled by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin is upholstered in beige leather with matching side panels and carpets. Wood trim accents the dashboard and upper doors. Equipment includes an air conditioning system that was added by a previous owner, an aftermarket CD stereo, a locking glovebox, wing windows, a map light, two-speed windshield wipers, and fold-out wooden tables for the rear seat occupants. Three-point safety belts are mounted for the front seats, with lap belts are fitted for the rear bench.
A two-spoke steering wheel with a horn ring frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline. The seller notes that the inset clock is not working. The rolled odometer shows 6k miles, with approximately 8k added in the past nine years and total mileage unknown. Coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel gauges are mounted in the center stack along with an ammeter and a row of toggle switches.
The seller has converted the 3.8-liter inline-six from carburetion to fuel injection as well as fitting an electronic setup in place of ignition points. Rust is visible in the underhood panel ahead of the radiator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The fuel tank was reconditioned and the pump replaced under current ownership.

Lot #242238
This 1963 Jaguar Mk II was refurbished in 2005 and purchased by the seller on BaT in October 2021. Refinished in brown over a beige interior, the car is powered by a 3.8-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes driving lights, power steering, rear wheel spats, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, electronic ignition, front bucket seats, seat belts, and a JVC CD stereo. Reported work under current ownership consisted of changing the fluids, installing a PerTronix ignition coil, and carrying out wiring repairs as well as fitting a Bell exhaust system and refurbishing some under-hood components. This Mk II is offered with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, a car cover, spare parts, and New York registration in the seller’s name.
Factory-finished in Pearl Grey, the car underwent a color change to brown under prior ownership. Exterior details include a Leaper hood ornament, dual fender-mounted mirrors, driving lights, a pop-up cowl vent, and removable rear fender spats. The seller notes signs of repairs at the bottom of the left-front door. There is rust in previously repaired areas of the spats, bubbling and a blemish on the right-rear quarter panel, and chipped paint at the upper edge of the trunk lid. The master keys have been lost, although the seller has two keys that came with a replacement ignition assembly installed under current ownership.
Air-conditioning equipment has been added but is not connected, and the glovebox is locked and unable to be opened with the current keys.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a horn ring and frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline and a non-operational inset clock. Gauges for water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and amperage are housed in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 6k miles and is believed to have rolled over, with approximately 400 miles added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.8-liter XK inline-six was factory rated at 220 horsepower and 237 lb-ft of torque. The car is said to now be equipped with a negative-earth electrical system, an alternator, electronic ignition, and an electric cooling fan. Reported work under current ownership has included changing the fluids, fitting a PerTronix Flame-Thrower ignition coil, and repairing the wiring along with refurbishing the radiator, alternator, and exhaust manifolds. There is rust on the underhood panel ahead of the radiator.
The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate lists factory colors and production numbers along with a manufacture date of June 21, 1963.
This car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue them for vehicles of its age. It is being sold on its New York registration, which serves an ownership document in that state.
