Ebay item 12/9/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1963-Jaguar-Mk2-/350513681867
Current bid $1,000 reserve not met, 1 bid 9 days let in auction.
Sellers description:
Engine/Drive-train/Mechanical
This Mk2 features the 3.8 liter 6 cylinder twin overhead camshaft. It features a 4 speed transmission with overdrive. The engine however was not restored but is in good mechanical condition but does leak some oil as all old Jags do.
Exterior
The exterior has been completely restored. The exterior is painted British Racing Green. All trim has been re-chromed and polished to perfection. The exterior body has no flaws whatsoever in the paint or chrome.
Interior
Likewise with the Exterior, the Interior has been completely restored in OEM Jaguar Beige. All seats, carpet, headliner and interior trim have been restored. The interior is in perfect condition with very clean Beige Leather seats. All of the wood trim has been completely refinished and looks even better than new inside this Mk2. If you've ever priced the wood reconditioning you know this is several thousand dollars of work.

Auction description:
Vintage Motor Cars At Meadow Brook Hall
5 August 2006
Lot 217
1963 Jaguar Mark II 3.8S Saloon
To be auctioned on Saturday, August 5, 2006
Sold for $36,300
Chassis no. 220396N
This wonderful hobbyist-owned example is a largely original, four owner from new example, having been well cared for and never needing major restoration. It has been repainted in its original British green paint with a new correct tan leather interior. At the same time, the car's stunning woodwork was stripped and refinished to a high gloss, and much of the plating was redone. At the same time, a premier Pioneer sounds system was installed, including a five disc CD changer with remote. The installation was so well done that it appears factory.
The car features the highly desirable four-speed transmission with factory overdrive. In addition, Lucas Fog Ranger lights were installed, and a Nardi steering wheel and Jaguar walnut shift knob fitted, along with upgraded wire wheels and Goodyear tires.
This Jaguar has been properly maintained mechanically, and runs well. Included with the sale is the owner's manual, shop manual, a full set factory tools including jack, lubrication chart and miscellaneous parts including four Jaguar Mk II hubcaps for disc wheels. The vendor reports that the car was purchased and maintained for his wife's use, and is being sold to make room for a new car. Today, this Jaguar offers an increasingly rare opportunity to own a well cared for and largely unrestored example of one of Jaguar's finest driver's saloons.
