Ebay item 6/3/09
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $4,250 reserve not met, 7 bids 3 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
1962 Jaguar MK2 3.8 Litre 4 Speed with Electronic Overdrive. This is a Northern California Blue Plate with yellow letters Jaguar MK2. Factory options include reclining leather seats, and dealer installed radio. This Jag has the 4 speed manual transmission with the Electronic Overdrive Transmission, which gives you the "Extra Gear" (5th). Power steering, four wheel disc brakes, tutone paint, metallic Rootbeer/tan, beautiful interior, seats are perfect with reclining front seats and walnut picnic tables behind front seats. Walnut dash and walnut door trim thru-out, original wool headliner, the body and interior is in amazing condition, the body is straight and rust free and as you can see from the pics the interior speaks for itself!! The Jaguar even has the J-Lucas headlights, and the original spare tire, jack and handle in the trunk. The tires were replaced brand new and has not been driven on!! The chrome is in great condition as seen in the pictures, undercarriage is clean straight and rust free, motor is original numbers match and clean as also seen in the pictures, and still has the twin S.U. Carbs, specifications state that this was a 125 MPH car at the time with 235 Horse Power and a 0-60 in 8 1/2 seconds!! The front and rear windows has been removed for a repaint, which never happened. I have the front and rear glass, but they are not installed, I have new windshield and rear window rubber that will go with the car as well as the original chrome window mouldings that are in perfect conditon. I have the original key and all the doors, hood and truck open and close with ease, all the body lines line up perfect. Windows roll up and down with ease as well and there is no broken or chipped glass anywhere to be found. The Jag has sat idle in the garage, it is going to need a battery and the brakes bled, the Jag ran effortlessly when parked in the garage over 10 years ago. When it was parked over 10 year ago the plan was to have a paint restoration, but like so many other car's, that never happened, so, it is now time to pass it along, it is a beautiful car, a survivor. I am sure I have missed something, but one thing for sure this is a great car, a true classic Jaguar MK2. The Jaguar is still located here the San Francisco bay area.
