Current bid $1,004 reserve not met, 6 bids, 1 day left in auction.

Sellers description:
This car needs TLC and restoration. It has been converted to a very strong 289 ford with a C-4 and 9" rearend. Does not have the rearend tag but it appears to a low gear ratio in it. All are in very good working order. The radiator was custom built and cools the car well. The brakes are a mess, they need someone to sort out the front disc with ford drum rear. The exterior needs paint and some rust removal. The apparent rust is in the bottom of the left rear door, right rear door and rear of left front fender. The drip rails were filled and painted, they are still there and could be cleaned out. There are 2 sets of fender shirts and the taillights are in the trunk. 2 of the wire wheels are good and 2 need replated. The interior has different seats, we don't know from what kind of car but they do fit the car pretty good. There is no broken glass. The wood appears to all be there, it is in poor shape and needs to be redone. For you Jaguar guys the data plate reads Car# 214494DN, Engine# LA7623-9,Body# 5007048,Gearbox# GBN38989JS. This is a great project car that needs refinement, restoration and completion.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
