Car offered at:
www.classic-trader.com/uk/cars/listing/jaguar/mk-ii/mk-ii-3-8/1962/310190

Seller's description:
Beacham European Ltd, Auckland, New Zealand
1962 Mk II 3.8
First registration date 01/1962
Year of manufacture 1962
Mileage (read) 800 mls
Chassis number 208703
1962 Jaguar Mk 2 3.8 - 4 Speed Manual O/D with matching numbers

Comes with excellent documented history. Sold new in New Zealand by the then Jaguar agent, Shorter’s Cars on the 11th September 1962

Has been under the same ownership since 1982, with most of that time being in storage.

In 2020 the owner decided to remove his Mk 2 from storage and commissioned a ground up restoration by Beacham Special Vehicles

Owing to New Zealand’s mild climate, the condition of this Mk 2 had been very well preserved making it an ideal donor vehicle for restoration

Restored over a 12 month period, the owners desire was to return this Mk 2 back to near original specification , so the only modern upgrades are electric power steering and remote central locking.

No expense was spared, ensuring this restoration has been completed to the very highest standard possible.

Finished in Opalescent Maroon with Biscuit Leather and Burr Walnut.
£150,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
