Car to be at auction 9/14
www.shannons.com.au/auctions/lot/N183MH3DN110J81F/

Auction description:
Lot 10 1962 Jaguar Mk 2 3.8 'Manual' Saloon
GUIDING RANGE
- Desirable 3.8 'Manual' with Overdrive
- Recent mechanical overhaul
- Coming from long-term owner

Although no early history of this Jaguar 3.8-litre Mark 2 is known, the car has been in the current owner's hands since 1999 and as such has been the recipient of some recent work. Kept registered in Victoria until December 2013, the Jaguar has the highly desirable 4-speed manual with overdrive option, wire wheels and disc brakes. Additionally, improvements made include power steering, an alternator, electronic ignition, whilst inside the cabin, front & rear retractable seat belts have been fitted, a Mota Lita wood rim steering wheel and a period AM radio. With some cosmetic refurbishment, the Mark 2 could prove a rewarding exercise of this popular classic. The Jaguar comes with a service manual and will be offered for sale unregistered.$18,000 - $24,000

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
